Medicaid Assistance

Low-income and medically vulnerable people shouldn’t have to worry about affording their next doctor’s visit. The Medicaid program provides medical coverage for children, families, single adults, and disabled or aged individuals.

Open enrollment runs November 1 – November 30 and is the month when Ohio Medicaid members can review the available plans and select the plan that best fits their healthcare needs. Members can select a new plan by using the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline Portal at www.ohiomh.com or by contacting the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline at 800-324-8680. Representatives are available 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

                               No one in our community should go hungry. We supply supplemental income for food purchases for qualifying families.

The ConnectEBT mobile app is now the official mobile app of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Ohio is rolling out the ConnectEBT mobile app for our SNAP  benefit card. Previous apps are not supported by Ohio’s contracted EBT vendor. You can now use the secure ConnectEBT app which is associated and connected directly with SNAP accounts. To download the app, you can search your smart phone’s app store for ConnectEBT. You can view your balance and purchase history, change your pin, activate your card, and report your card lost, stolen or damaged.


Financial Assistance

Trying to work and improve your circumstances but need a boost to get you there? Ohio Works First (OWF) provides time-limited cash assistance for families with dependent children in the home.

Child Care Assistance

Having trouble finding safe, affordable child care? If you are a parent or caretaker who is working, in school, or participating in an OWF work activity, you may qualify for subsidized child care for children under the age of 13. The care can be provided in licensed homes and/or child care centers.

Emergency Assistance (PRC)

Life can bring surprises. Our Prevention, Retention and Contingency (PRC) program helps low-income families with children overcome immediate barriers to self-sufficiency.

Health & Pregnancy

Children deserve a healthy start in life. We provide certain health screenings for pregnant individuals or children who are eligible for Medicaid. The Pregnancy Related Services Program helps ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
