Foster Care and Adoption Services

When children need to be removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect, they are placed in the custody of Medina County Job and Family Services.  Foster and adoptive parents work with our agency to provide a safe environment for children who have been removed from their homes.

Foster parents provide a safe stable home while a child's family works towards reunification.  If reunification is not possible, adoptive families are needed for the child/ren.

Foster and adoptive parenting is a commitment to help a child through a difficult time.  It's a job for people who can provide love, guidance, and structure.

Medina County Job and Family Services (MCJFS) needs nurturing homes in which to place the children ages birth to eighteen years who come into custody every year in our County. We are particularly in need of families for school-aged children and teens.

Many children and youth long for a “forever family”.  Being a parent can help change a child’s life, as well as bring new joy and fulfillment to your family.

Open your heart and home to a child.  Become a foster or adoptive parent today!
