Disability Assistance (DA)Disability Assistance (DA) is a cash assistance program issued to a single adult or childless couple. This program provides a small cash payment to individuals who are unable to work due to a disability, and pending Social Security Disability (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) with Social Security Administration. The Ohio Department of Job & Family Services determines if an individual is eligible for this program based on medical evidence submitted by the local county Department of Job & Family Services.
