Medina County Job & Family Services Office of Adult, Child and Family Stability

Our public service organization promotes the health, stability and self-sufficiency of Medina county families through a broad range of public assistance programs.  Our federal, state and local programs provide support for healthcare, food assistance, cash assistance and child care to those families that are eligible.  We are a voter registration agency.

Medina County Job & Family Services is open:

Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (closed on holidays)

For new applications for Food Assistance and Medicaid will be completed as a phone interview.  

An application for benefits can be submitted to the agency by walk-in, drop-off, mail, fax, or on-line application.

 

Once submitted, a customer service representative will contact you to schedule a phone interview appointment.

 

If you are applying for cash assistance (OWF), you must complete a face-to-face interview and an assessment for your Work Assignment.

Appointments for cash assistance will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. or until all appointments are filled.

 

The Application/Reapplication Verification Request lists some items that you may need to bring to your interview, including a completed application. If you do not have all the documents that you need, the county caseworker will give you some more time to get those documents. If you need help getting the documents, ask your caseworker for help.
