Ohio Works First (OWF)

Ohio Works First (OWF), formerly called Aid to Family and Dependent Children (ADC), is for people who live in Medina County, have children under the age of 18 and are in need of assistance.  If you qualify, OWF will help you get job training, find employment and receive some benefits as long as you are working toward independently supporting yourself and your family.  OWF is NOT permanent aid.  It is a temporary tool that will help you become independent.

OWF is made up of Three major parts:
