This is a medical program for pregnant women and children up to 19 years of age. Eligibility is based on income and household size. You do not have to apply in person or have a face-to-face interview. Coverage includes visits with a physician, hospital visits, dental care, vision care and prescriptions. This program is sometimes called the Children Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
